The OceanUCA platform updates the current operational tools developed by the University of Cádiz, including new observational systems and high-resolution numerical models (both atmospheric and hydrodynamic), configured to reach their maximum resolution on the coast of Andalusia. This system aims to detect climate-change effects, enhance environmental protection, facilitate the conservation of natural resources, develop early-warning products, or improve the short, medium, and long-term forecasts. The platform's ultimate aim is to adequately use the coastal ecosystem services to help the decision-making of institutions and third parties through monitoring marine and atmospheric processes in the area.
